The qualifying cut off will be released along with the final results on the official website.
Under the NTA is the cut off marks announced which will be published as soon as the exams are announced. This is going to include the minimum marks which need to be attained by every candidate in order to become eligible for JEE MAIN 2020. The cut off marks of the JEE Main 2020 will increase as per the increasing of the number of seats which are open for admission. The similar pattern is going to be followed if the number of applicants increase or decrease of the course.
As per the trends regarding the previous years, the JEE Main Cut Off for General category is expected to be around 89. The complete number of candidates with a 100 percentile has now reduced from 15 to 9 for the examinations of JEE Main conducted in the January Sessions in comparison to the previous year.
There are two types of cut off marks – Qualifying cut off and Admission Cut off.
The qualifying cut off marks are going to be published by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Admission cut off will be published on behalf of the institutes which are participating. The JoSAA will be publishing the admission cut off of JEE Main 2020.

In the year 2019, the NTA has published the minimum score (cutoff) that a JEE Main student needs to acquire in order to pass. It was lesser than the previous year since the exam was conducted twice by the authorities.
